Equistor, Custom made and available with Recessed Kit and with Stalling Sheets "The awning company has been covering Horsepower with a difference over the last decade. The meticulous preparation of racing machines for motorsport is considered paramount; Equestrian Competition, at any level, is no different. There is no better way to prepare than sheltered from the sun or rain by an equistor foldaway stable." Gary Harthern Frontier creates the ideal cover, welcome shelter from the sun or rain with 2.5m projection as standard. With no leg supports, the Frontier is totally self supporting. Each Frontier is made to measure to any length, up to a maximum of 6.0 metres. The Frontier cassette can be fitted on the side, flush mounted or mounted on the roof using the optional gallow bracket. As standard, the cassette is powder coated white, but colour matching it to the horsebox livery can really enhance its appearance. Operated by a cranked winding handle, one person can easily erect the Frontier in seconds. If you require real touch button luxury, a 240 volt motor can be fitted as an optional extra. Frontier is not available with sidewall sheeting as standard. In some cases one person could erect a equistor-frontier (roof only) on their own. As with the Frontier model, Equistor Jumbo provides an unbelievable large covered area, ideal for preparation of horse and pony, yet plenty of space left for entertaining or tack preparation. The benefit of Equistor is that it grows with your demands. Starting off as a roof only structure, you can then add sidewall sheeting to form any of the stabling and hospitality designs shown. It can be specified up to 7.0m in length and has an increased 3.0m or 3.5m projection if required. Equistor Jumbo is supplied as standard with heavy duty aluminium corner posts which help support the increased projections. We strongly recommend the use of the awning in this way, thus creating the strongest of structures to cope with our unpredictable British climate. In some cases one person could erect a equistor-jumbo (roof only) on their own. To be used with Aluminium Base Frame To provide extra protection from the wind and rain, the top half of
the side wall can be added easily by sliding the PVC sheeting into the
keder grooves on the aluminium sections stalling bar. This operation
will take just a minute or so, keeping you and your horse dry and comfortable.
The large meshed panel provides plenty of ventilation for more humid
conditions. |

An optional extra vehicle skirt finishes your equistor off perfectly, preventing draughts blowing under the box. It also acts as a useful deterrent against stray dogs entering your awning. The living area sidewall has a clear PVC window instead of mesh. Your Equistor is now ready for use. Whether it's just a short stay or a 2/3 day event this new accessory will provide space to relax, let the kids play, prepare your horse or pony or even entertain your friends; the choice is yours. PVC colours can vary considerably and so can paintwork. To that end, we can supply a comprehensive sample book of PVC colours to make the best match. Sometimes a contrast of colour is the best alternative. Awnings That Create Style and Space In the event that our standard designs and colours do not meet your requirements, we can interpret your own ideas to give your awning a unique individual appearance. We can advise you on any aspect of awning design and can work with your coachbuilder on new vehicle build, where you may want to recess the awning into the side of the horsebox. The whole concept of Equistor is geared to achieving customer satisfaction. |

Roof mounted or flush fitting on the side are the only 2 options for
retro fits but if you are investing in a new custom build, then recessing
the awning can look really good. Every coachbuilder has his own "design
and build" techniques and as we already work closely with a number of
companies, designing a recessed kit to specifically suit a vehicle design
is our speciality. On Equistor Jumbo awnings we can fit a nylon "boss" in the side, to
which we fit a removable extrusion that seals the sidewalls to the vehicle,
this aluminium extrusion also acts to locate the baseframe pole to the
ground. |
